Happy Chinese New Year 2011

This Chinese New Year is certainly going to be a whole new experience for us as we'll be celebrating it with lil Ryan for the very first time! Looking forward to it.

I hope you've had a splendid Tiger year and are now ready to greet the Rabbit with open arms. Here's hoping the Rabbit brings more prosperity, better luck and abundance of good health to everyone!

Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year 2011, from me, Jan and lil Ryan...!

Huat ahhh...!!!

Spring Cleaning 2011

It's that time of the year again. And I believe everyone else is doing it as well - spring cleaning!

Gates, grilles, curtains, blinds, ceiling fans, cabinets, fridge - basically things that you don't clean often, needs to be cleaned at least once a year! :p

Not to forget putting up all the CNY decos, 'painting' the house RED!

Happy cleaning everyone!

Project 180 - Updates 27/01/2011

Another 6km completed in 45 minutes today.

Since I have gotten serious into running for slightly more than 5 weeks now, I have lost 4kg.

I run and workout 5-6 days in a week these days. I also tend to be more careful with my daily diet. Project 180 is very much on time! I'm seeing progress and will continue to work hard!

Feeling Good!

It was nightmare for us the night before, especially wifey, because lil Ryan was fussing the whole night and could only fall asleep briefly in Jan's arms. And then he would wake up and fuss again. Imagine that this went on for the whole night.

Last night was pretty good. I don't know what was going on, but our best guess would be because he's growing new tooth.

Today I woke up and ran for another 6km ++ at 6am. Frankly, it's rather dangerous to be running in the dark, but I guess this is the best time since I can't possibly run in the evening these days due to my busy schedule. All sorts of things hit my mind running under the dark skies (eg. dogs, thieves, ghosts!!!) but I just ran on. Completed the course in about 40 mins, alternating between light jogs, sprints and brief walks. It's the best cardio exercise to burn away the spare tyre I read.

I lost 2kg since I started running weeks ago. It feels good but it's not the weight that I'm going after, I was just trying to keep a lean and toned abs. I just hope all the 2kg came from the tummy!

Anyway, I'm feeling good today! Hope you are too!
