Always
The quality of our water in Selangor, is bad, well at least in the place I'm staying -- Seri Kembangan. I'm sure majority of you guys are experiencing this as well. Perhaps it has become a norm staying in Selangor.

I've been on the lookout for a reliable, hassle-free, yet affordable master filter for our house. Names like Waterco, Pentair, UE-Tec, Diamond and Bacfree came up. Been contemplating these few names for a while now.
Anyone has any experience with the mentioned brands, and would like to share? Recommendations and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

I use a Panasonic water filter costing RM140 and installed in the kitchen. I only use filtered water for drinking and cooking. It work just fine. Water is crystal clear. :)
All other expensive filtration systems are just crappily over priced. Sorry you Diamond agent out there... :)
Hmm... Even though me not in Selangor (:P), but we also got a main filter outside the house... that one i don't know what brand but we bought @ Tesco. We change the filter quite often. Then, same as charsiu we used another panasonic one in the kitchen and will boil again for drinking.
Maybe you can check out amway. Sometimes, my personal view la.. more expensive doesn't mean better. :P
I also use Panasonic water filter, but I think mine slightly more expensive type, still less than RM500. It says the "hole" is smaller than the RM140 basic one so can filter better.
Seems like everyone is suggesting to use normal basic filters and screw the expensive ones :P
U can try the Elken RO(reverse osmosis) water... Pretty good... i am using it.
Thanks guys for the inputs...I was actually looking for the outdoor unit, capable of providing us with better quality water, for the WHOLE house...most importantly, a low maintenance unit...water in my area is seriously contaminated...cooking, drinking, washing and bathing are affected...and I have opted for BACFREE...tell u guys more later...
to kokwai - normally ppl pay more for smaller holes..kakkaka....
to chris - since u wanna hv the outdoor type, do it the traditional way...DIG A WELL....kakakkaka....
jacky, very misleading...
anyway, i have got the Bacfree 'rocket' filter installed today...will write about it later...
